Patent and Utility Models

Patent and Utility Models

A patent for an invention is granted to the inventor, giving the inventor the right for a limited period to stop others from making, using or selling the invention without the permission of the inventor. When a patent is granted, the invention becomes the property of the inventor, which - like any other form of property or business asset - can be bought, sold, rented or hired. Similarly, inventions which are novel and which can be applied to industry shall be protected by means of giving utility model.

KIRCI Law Office (KIRCI Avukatlık Bürosu) renders a wide range of services regarding patents and utility models from application to the representation of our clients before Intellectual Property Courts, Court of Cassation/Supreme Court and Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TPTO) in Turkey.
